Dropping off a sample

We receive samples during business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. A secure refrigerated depository is available for after-hours submission of samples and small carcasses that do not require a hoist.  Large animal submissions requiring a hoist are only accepted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For herd health emergencies during weekends and holidays, email the pathologist on duty (ndsu.vetlab.path@ndsu.edu).
