Dropping off a sample

We receive samples during business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. A secure refrigerated depository is available for after-hours submission of samples and small carcasses that do not require a hoist.  Large animal submissions requiring a hoist are only accepted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The NDSU VDL’s after hours and emergency response is limited to significant death loss events and high consequence diseases that are reportable to the North Dakota Board of Animal Health (ND BoAH). The lab performs emergency and weekend service in consultation with the ND BoAH.
