Shipping Requirements | Fluids submitted in preservative free test tubes. Serum must be removed from the clot after centrifugation. Ocular fluid should be removed from the eye globe and then frozen or submitted on ice, overnight whenever possible. |
Additional Instructions | This test is appropriate for use when samples are pigmented and not appropriate for colorimetric analysis or when a quantified result is needed. If the animal has been dead for more tan 24-36 hours (less time in hot weather), autolysis and bacterial contamination can case false positive results. |
