Use of Tissue Dye to Denote Surgical Margins

Instructions: Apply ink before or after formalin fixation.

1. Dry specimen with paper
2. Apply ink with a cotton
3. Allow ink to dry for about one minute before placing in
4. Use multiple colors to denote specific margins (e.g. red = cranial, green=lateral).
