North Dakota Vetrinary Diagnostic Lab

The Toxicology section is supervised by a dual-boarded veterinary toxicologist, with three chemists performing a variety of assays to support VDL clients and pathological findings from the Necropsy laboratory. Toxicology devotes part of its resources to mycotoxin testing of feeds and phytoestrogen testing on forages. The laboratory also performs diverse testing of water, biological samples for trace minerals and heavy metals, vitamin analysis on liver, and pesticide analysis and sodium monofluoroacetate (Compound1080) testing in biological samples and bait. Please see tests for more information or contact us with additional questions.
