I forgot my password.
To protect the confidentiality
of your records, we can not email or display your current password. You can however,
easily create a new password online. If you currently have a password, but do not
remember it:
- Create a new password. Go to
Password Recovery
and enter your username.
- You will need to provide an answer to your security question to continue. If the
answer you provide is correct then we will email a temporary password to you.
- Using the the temporary password, sign into your account and use the
Change Account Password
link to set a new password.

I forgot my username.
We can remind you what your
username is.
- Simply go to
Username Recovery
and enter your email address, and we will email your username to the email address
we have on record.

I forgot both my username and password.
If you have a username and
password, but do not remember them:
- Have you registered to use our online service? If not, go to
Register Account
to create an account and select a username.
- If you have already registered to use our online service, then your first step will
be to recover your username using the steps described in the preceeding section.
- Using the recovered username, reset your password by following the steps described
in the first section.

I have a temporary password.
If you received a temporary
password via email, simply sign on with your username and temporary password. You
will then be prompted to create a new password. Note: Your temporary password will
expire 30 days after we create it.

My password has been disabled or my account is locked.
For your protection, if you
— or someone trying to access your account — enter an incorrect password five times,
we will disable your password or lock your account. Choose the any one of the options below to resolve this isssue:
- To re-enable your password, go to
Password Recovery
and enter your username. Follow the instructions that the system will provide.
- Send an email to vdladmin@ndsuext.nodak.edu.
- Call our Client Sevices desk at (701) -231-8307.

I know my username and password but want to change one or both.
It’s a good idea to change
your password on a regular basis. If you know your username and password and want
to change them, sign on, in the Account Options section, select either Update Password
or Update Username, and follow the instructions.

I signed up before Novernber 01, 2008 and my Username/Password do not work anymore.
If you have an account that
was created before November 01, 2008, you are required to register again. A new
registration allows us to update your account information and transition your account
to our new set of online services.
